I have worked with Wiley on mini projects editing books. My job is to edit learning objectives of the book and match all the contents of the book and study guide of the first general chemistry text book. This job entitled checking mathematical errors, contents, and chemical formula, as well as making sure all the chapters have a correct key terms. I am also currently working on smaller project combining two books contents together for an organic text book. In 2016, I was involved in job creating new diagnostic and practical questions for the online course that accommodate the chemistry textbook approximately 2000 questions (Chemistry, Third Canadian Edition, 2016). Inventory program Carleton University department of health and Safety (EHS)

I was working under the supervision of Nancy Delcellier and Tina Preseau to develop file of all the chemicals that are used at all the university departments. I was responsible on doing the inventory program for all the chemicals, also updating EHS board with new rules and regulations, I have also been involved in making videos for health and safety hazards, reporting any chemical hazards in the laboratory. Working in the Abbot Point of Care Research lab (protein engineering)

I have worked in the research lab of Abbott Point of Care during the winter and summer of 2013, my group is focusing on looking at 14 blood test panels for differential diagnosis. We are developing new assays that can measure four indicator for liver assessment: Bilirubin Oxidase (BOX), Pyruvate Oxidase (POX), Glutamate Oxidase (GLOX), Sarcosine Oxidase (SOX). My work was to produce active and stable recombinant protein to catalyze reaction producing H2O2. I was focused on specific area on subcloning and protein expression. I used techniques such as DNA and protein Isolations, cloning, transformation and purification, western blots, and enzymatic assays. Additionally my work was involved with another project that focused on the efficient expression of recombinant protein using chaperons This work allowed me to understand the application of molecular genetics tools and how does impact the health of individuals by improving diagnostic tools using simple microorganism such as E.coli. Medical Assistance

As a medical assistant, my duties were split amongst administration, assisting physicians, and providing services directly to patients. Initially, I provided patient triage for the various physicians working at the facility. Additionally, I assisted the physicians on numerous medical procedures, including pap smears, suture removal, etc. I also completed CPR/First Aid training as well as training to administer flu shots and allergy serums to patients.
