CropLife Australia is the voice, advocate and representative of the plant science industry in Australia. Through industry leadership and advocacy, CropLife seeks the implementation and maintenance of laws and regulations that give CropLife members freedom to operate and a clear path to market for their products. My role at CropLife played an integral role in representing the plant science industry. This included the writing, editing and designing of CropLife's quarterly newsletter ( please see link below). This required strong attention to detail and dissemination of complex scientific issues to construct a strong message to advocate the views of the plant science industry to a wide audience. Further I was in charge of CropLife's online presence, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Linked In. I used various medium's to optimise the reach of messaging and enable analyse of followers, and the reach of messaging. This required me to have a strong understanding of current agricultural issues, and be aware of government issues. I was in charge of the management of CropLife's Annual Forum. This required long term and short term planning skills. It also required me to affective communicate and liaise with stakeholder including farmers, industry head and politics to organise the event.I was also responsible for coordinating staff. Further I have proficient skills in graphic design. My completion of advanced source "InDesign" course, enable me to design visually ethic designs matched to CropLife branding for external use, including infographics, forum programs and the new website.
