Rowan, has a passionate and and dedicated work ethic. He goes the extra mile to deliver customer excellence, and ensures that the i's are dotted and T's crossed. It was a pleasure working with Rowan and I wish him every success in his future career.

Rowan worked for me directly during a sandwich year at university. His capability, drive and enthusiasm impressed me hugely and he was a tremendous asset to the team during his brief time at Virgin. His ability to accurately assess the needs of a stakeholder, some of whom were senior execs, was deeply impressive and belied his age with a steady approach to his work. I can not recommend Rowan enough and he is sure to have a promising career ahead of him. I'm secretly hoping he will come back and work for Virgin again.

Following on from my initial project, I ran a new task aimed at implementing a recommendation I identified. This was around the design and creation of an Executive Deck for use by Product Owners to help identify Strengths, Weaknesses and Opportunities. An interesting and challenging project with great satisfaction.

I ran a project to investigate how KPIs and Measures within Virgin Media work, as well as looking at how to improve these measures and reporting packs for the customers. Hence giving them a true view of what 'Good' looks like. A great project, inside a great company, involving a long list of stakeholders alongside tight deadlines and great opportunities for the future.

As an analyst I was responsible for mediation between charities and businesses, helping them to create long-term partnerships to provide charities with the resources they required not only in the short-term but for years to come. This gave me the opportunity to see first-hand how a voluntary sector organisation works, both from a humanitarian side as well as the business side. Invaluable experience which I can carry forward into my future employment. The opportunity to work within Cable & Wireless at their global headquarter, has provided me with a significant insight into global business activity. Working within the finance team, as an analyst, my responsibilities have included managing a time-recording system (SAP), collating information about this system and presenting KPI figures on a weekly basis. Payroll reconciliation and other month-end financial activities formed part of my tasks.
