      We founded Speartooth so we could focus on using our software engineering and design chops to encourage social and ecological transformation. Since then we've been honing our skills and building things that we hope will help in this age of crisis: Designing and developing games and VR experiences in UE4/5 with C++, Blender and Quixel for UK based clients in the events and entertainment space. Building cross platform mobile apps and websites that promote and facilitate ecological transformation. Working on an open world MMO in Unreal Engine 5 with C++, custom server infrastructure and procedural generation. The project revolves around player generated content and pushes at the limits of what is possible in a multiplayer game by embracing emergent gameplay, systemic design and holistic world building.       Lead designer and developer for two VR titles built in UE4 with C++. As lead developer in a very small team working to the punishing time constraints of the events space I had to rapidly take on a lot of different roles and responsibilities from building custom tooling, to art direction and project management. Nothing is as rewarding as the immediate feedback you receive when working with exciting new technologies and rapid development workflows.       As a full stack developer on shopify (ruby) and laravel (php) based ecommerce sites I worked closely with management and retail employees to build robust and scalable sites with excellent conversion rates and thousands of products. During this time I was also project lead on a react native app (javascript) for ios and android, built from scratch to support a php REST api and device level features such as QR scanning and location. Working with so many different technologies in such a short space of time has helped me to rapidly iterate and improve other projects. Show less
