South Champlain Historical Ecology Project

  I helped to facilitate the everyday operations of archaeological fieldwork at the Galick site in West Haven, Vermont. These duties included carrying out the proper excavation and screening techniques, the handling, washing, and sorting of artifacts, and the successful setup and breakdown of necessary equipment. I helped to implement techniques and to manage students in grades 3-8, as well as college students and the many volunteers that came out to the site or into the lab. This work was over the course of two summer internship terms (May- August 2016, May-July 2017) through Castleton University with the South Champlain Historical Ecology Program. Show less
