      At Shepherd Center, I worked primarily with the SHARE Military Initiative, a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitative day program for military veterans, active service members, and first responders who have a history of mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries and mental health concerns. Completed language and cognitive-linguistic evaluations using of a variety of assessment tools to determine the impact of a client's traumatic brain injury on their abilities in these areas Assessments including: The Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS), Western Aphasia Battery (WAB), Speed and Capacity of Language Processing Test (SCOLP),Functional Assessment of Verbal Reasoning & Executive Functioning (FAVRES), La Trobe Communication Questionnaire, Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function-Adult (BREIF-A), amongst others. Utilized motivational interviewing to identify strengths, areas of deficit and desired functional outcomes. Provided evidenced-based cognitive-linguistic interventions such as Attention Process Training, Metacognitive Strategy Training, Auditory Habituation and Dual Task Training, Emotion Regulation Strategy Training, etc. Led both individual and group therapy sessions.
