My role was to lead transformation projects across IBM’s Software and Infrastructure Finance business. In this job I created and ran collaborative Whiteboarding and Design Thinking sessions with our WW Brands and Geo finance teams to identify transformation opportunities and worked closely with our executives to prioritize, select, and manage projects. As the project manager, it is my duty to map processes, define requirements, identify technologies to utilize, build solutions, track and communicate progress, and deploy the solutions to the stakeholders. Some of my larger projects include:• Expense Forecasting Project: The objective of this project was to automate the expense forecasting & reporting processes across IBM Software and Infrastructure. I collaborated with SMEs, leadership, and the Data Science and Enterprise Data teams to build complex Machine Learning models to predict our SG&A and Development expense elements across 14 brands, 4 Geos, and 15 markets. In addition to the models, we developed a new cloud database tool that allowed users to adjust the modeled inputs in real time. This database was connected to our data visualization tool, EPM Cognos Analytics, where we created a standardized dashboard that our SMEs used in their expense review calls. • Query Automation: I automated data queries through IBM’s Analytics and AI platform, Cloud Pak for Data. This tool allowed us to connect directly to data and included the development tools Jupyter Notebooks and SPSS Modeler. I wrote Python scripts and SPSS modeler streams to automatically pull, transform, and push queries to BOX through defined jobs. • Deal Size Dashboard: I built a Cognos Analytics dashboard for our WW Infrastructure team, which replaced all manual deal size reporting done in excel. • RPA Journal Automation: I worked directly with our Robotics Process Automation team to automate monthly finance adjustments done by our Financial Analysts. • Federal HQ Finance Control Lead
      • Jan 2019 - Jan 2020

Managed the tracking, consolidating, and presenting roadmaps of “at-risk” contracts to senior leadership. Oversaw audit reporting requirements for Federal Finance while leading the Transformation team and running several projects.• Led team to automate process of manually loading all Federal contract invoices to a repository database by using scripting to automatically pull in invoice details; completion of this project earned me my Lean Sigma Six green belt.• Spearheaded time and material invoice automation project wherein we automated the hold and release process of invoice charges by using an Excel export in conjunction with Python script to scrape the webpage for transactional data and compare it to line items in the Excel file, eliminating the need for manual reporting through Costpoint. • Automated our project setup process in tool called PORT, wherein we set up a web-browser automation tool that used Excel templates and Python to automatically set up hundreds of billable projects in our systems. • Built VBA macros to automate predictive forecast file called the Quick Pulse file, which was deployed to the 20+ Financial Analysts in the Federal team.
