Developed relationships with mortgage insurers, mono-line insurers, investment banks, hedge funds and other groups holding or controlling distressed residential loan portfolios. Primary contact point for bidding process for several government sub-servicing requests-for-proposal. Role included ongoing reporting and interaction with senior management and legal department. Focus of business development efforts transitioned to mortgage servicing rights acquisition in 2012. Responsible for developing flow and bulk opportunities nationwide with focus on the middle 1/3 of the US. Working knowledge of conventional agency (FNMA & FHLMC) and government (GNMA) servicing rights. Developed relationships with all of the major servicing brokers and managed significant numbers of acquisition opportunities offered by these groups. Selected Results: • Business development of sub-servicing contract with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
