  After a few years as Engineering manager, I was presented with the opportunity to be General manager of FASTEN8 Assembly Systems. To date, our company has seen great growth in team members, sales, in-house services, supply chain and support network. My role also includes:- Develop & execute long and short-range plans and programs in the line with the companies strategies. These plans included objectives regarding engineering, sales, service, financial requirements and human resources.- Lead the group in all aspects of day-to-day activities including the manufacturing, engineering, quality, R&D, marketing and product management, sales, HR, Finance, and all operational aspects of the organization with the objective to maximize its profitability and growth and realize company goals.- Responsible for growing a team of 18 (including 3 engineering managers) engineers spread across Europe, Asia and North America. This team included 3 department engineering managers. - Responsible for all product design and implementation. Over 22 engineering products taken from conceptual review to successful onsite customer installation & buy-off. - Oversee and correct unsatisfactory conditions that may arise in any phase of the operation – manage and/or correct whatever action may be deemed necessary to ensure the accomplishment of foreseen objectives. - Ensure proper talent acquisition, engagement and development and design and develop an organization that enables FASTEN8 to achieve the company’s goals and strategic intent.- Sustain and control the strict application of all legal, regulatory, and corporate rules and regulations as related to corporate, labour and tax legislation, as well as quality, safety, and security.

• Engineering Manager

  My role as Engineering manager was to oversee all technical aspects of the engineering team which included:- Managed all equipment build from initial concept to design approval, build, acceptance run-offs, installation & after sales support. - Worked with logistics managers to implement a robust supply chain for consumables sold by the company. - Lead a team of engineers to develop custom controls & hardware platform using open architecture software for IEC 61131-3 PLC code. - Impementation of OPC-UA to enable all equipment for I4.0. - Developed digital partners for all standard products which is sold as project add-ons. - Develop standard function libraries, sequences and HMI screens for all FASTEN8 Standard Products. - Lead controls team to develop the FN8 Megabus which is can be used to communicate between almost any industrial communication protocol. - Responsible for all product design and implementation. Over 22 engineering products taken from conceptual review to successful onsite customer installation & buy-off. - Scandalised CNC centre to work exclusively with Haas equipment. - Designed & built companies first large scale (1220mm) 3D industrial printer to make large scales parts from various materials. - Managed service team which included customer visits, VMI for spare parts & continuous improvement.
