Employed by Netsurit; 01-12-2014 – 01-01-2016 Role: Support Engineer (outsourced) Duties varied across clients; Ster Kinekor Theatres: Service-desk\Helpdesk support. As a member of a team we supported Ster Kinekor Theatres globally. Common tasks included troubleshooting & solving end user issues, server support, sql administration, network support, hardware support, hardware installations. Bidvest McCarthy: Support Technician\Engineer Tasks included performing wide range support for all McCarthy dealerships in the Gauteng region. More specifically I was part of a 2-man team supporting the entirety of Pretoria. Similar duties as compared to Ster Kinekor, however more “hands on”. Nespresso South Africa: IT Manager I took over the role of IT manager when the in-house specialist departed employ. Duties included broad spectrum server administration and desktop support. Here I gained most of my experience in the enterprise server environment. TBWA South Africa: Support Team – OSX\Unix Support As part of a team I was placed underneath an exceptionally skilled technician in order to broaden my knowledge of unix (linux & OSX) desktop & server administration.
