My work profile expanded after completing the initial re-layout in Kutna Hora due to a number of factors. AMS factory was flooded, Puerto Rico was devastated by a hurricane, all within a few months of each other and I was asked to co-ordinate a team in the re-routing of orders to EMEA which we supported for over 6 months. Led a team in the development of world wide standardisation of manufacturing reports, sent to AMS to support one of new partners sites and to Mexico when main production of AMS orders moved there last November/December. New challenges new experience and new learning's, but still keeping a hand in industrial/ manufacturing engineering, finishing off co-ordinating the new re-layout within EMEA. Show less

Manufacturing Process engineer, working to improve the processes within RVC. Manufacturing Process Engineer & Lean sigma black belt. successfully delivered black belt project in 2013. so far only 6 of us certified out of group of 20. My project itself was nominated for HP's presidents quality award, unfortunately my team did not win it but it was a real honor to be nominated for it in the first place. Manufacturing Industrial Engineer & certified lean sigma black belt. As I said, not very often in your working life do you get to lead a project that rips a factory out and puts it back together again with as close to zero effect to manufacturing. Probably also of note, covering for operations manager during vacations etc. Next? pass my PMP exam and take on the next challenge that awaits me One small update. It has taken just about 2 years to completely change the factory around, but from the feedback of our sponsors, they are very pleased with what we have accomplished to the extent that the project has been nominated for the presidents quality award. Here's hoping, might be second time lucky. Show less

When the transition of build from Scotland and Germany was complete, it was clear that the processes installed, were far from perfect. The physical layout was far from efficient and that there were many opportunities to improve things, as a result, my focus was more towards process improvements, whilst also still looking after the capacity planning.
