  I practice in the areas of business litigation and appeals, employment law, contract drafting and review, and general corporate law. I am admitted to practice in all of the state and federal courts of North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Sixth Circuit. I have argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and have been lead counsel for jury trials in both federal and state court. I was recognized by my peers as “Legal Elite” in Business North Carolina Magazine’s annual list in 2017 and 2018, in the area of business litigation. I was selected by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine for its 2017 and 2018 editions in the area of business litigation, and as a “Rising Star” in its 2011 through 2016 editions.
