ANTH 411/611 Advanced Field Archaeology: 1 course (3 credit hours), May-June 2019 Performed duties as a teaching assistant for an archaeological field school with UAB where I assisted in the clearance and establishment of an excavation site, managed the catalog of surface collection items, assisted students with excavation and laboratory analysis, performed exploratory shovel test pits, and helped finalize the excavation site. Archaeological Laboratory Assistant: My duties as a graduate teaching assistant involved working with artifacts from the Department of Anthropology’s Archaeological Collections at UAB. The Department of Anthropology underwent a move across campus to a new building in the summer of 2019 and I assisted with artifact management and relocation. I also assisted in the establishment of the anthropology department’s new archaeology laboratory.
