  I've been working as a wardrobe/costume assistant for Congleton Pantomime at The Daneside Theatre for the past 6 years alongside my studies and degree. This may be a volunteer basis but I've treated this role in a professional capacity and take great pride in all the costumes we rent and garments we create ourselves. I'm used to mending costumes for show purposes and also know how to care for them. I have a great understanding that often it can be the costume that helps the actor become the character and this in turn makes the costumes come to life. When it comes to costumes I prefer to keep detailed descriptions and imagery so I know exactly how each piece should be worn along with this I keep my paperwork for costumes/cast in an organised manner so it is efficient and helpful to any other member of the team who may need it for reference. Along with my general duties for The Congleton Pantomime regarding costumes I also oversee dressing rooms and keep all items in the correct order per scene to the show that is currently on. I'm a keen team player and I'm more than happy to get my hands stuck in to anything that needs doing in a theatre environment or otherwise.

  Cinderella - 2017/2018 Aladdin - 2018/2019 Goldielocks - 2019/2020 An Eightfreestyle and Dancehouse Production. Altering costumes and fitting them to cast members. Making a selection of costumes myself. Setting synthetic wigs. Large scale quick changes. Laundry organising and teaming up both youth dance groups which was 47 children overall.
