  Wabi Sabi was a world travelling private 50m Westport. I started as third stewardess and got promoted to 2nd stewardess in January 2017. The last 4 months, we ran without a chief stewardess giving me an opportunity to experience a management role. During my time onboard I was responsible for most aspects of the interior. Including creating jobs lists, teaching dayworkers and temporary crew, overseeing all aspects of admin and inventories, guest ordering and provisioning, overseeing shipyard periods and boat shows. Whilst onboard I upgraded all interior documents onto a useable interior iPad, using it to allow things to run more smoothly – everything from guest preferences to daily checklists and videos of how to make the bosses coffee. I left due to the boat being sold.

  State of Grace was a busy private and charter duel season Perini Navi Sailing Yacht. On charter, I worked just as the 2nd stewardess and ran the laundry and maintained the cabins on my own to a high standard, as well as assisting in service. The boat sailed a lot and therefore service under sail was regular. Off Charter my time was split equally between deck and interior.
