I have known Roshii for over two years now as a candidate of the New School's TESOL Masters program, and I can honestly say that she has been an invaluable support and mentor. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. Roshii herself is a NS MA TESOL alumni with many years of ESL teaching experience, teacher training and supervisory skills. In her role as the Outreach ESL Program Coordinator/Director at the New School for almost 8 years she has served so many students in providing them with essential English language skills. This has been even more critical in the past year plus during a worldwide pandemic where she has managed to keep the program thriving! I have witnessed firsthand how much each student feels a personal connection with her. Her warmth and kindness extend to everyone. I am extremely grateful to be able to collaborate with her now as I engage in my teaching practicum and I cannot say enough good things about her, or recommend her highly enough as any organization would be fortunate to have her as part of their team.
