As a Logistics Manager at Mattison Scaffolding, I had the opportunity to fully transform the logistics operations, making them more efficient, safe, and compliant with the regulations. Of course, this has been done with the help of my colleagues and with the support of the directors of the company. Mattison scaffolding owners have personally asked me to take over our transport department after they were greatly impressed by my leadership, teamwork, innovation, and communication skills while I was yard manager. They felt that the logistics of the company needed improvement as well, and that I was the right person to take on this role. Since starting in my new position, I have created and implemented a lot of policies and procedures, including a 38-page comprehensive transport policy. One of my biggest achievements is that I have managed to get FORS accreditation for the company through the scheme’s initial and follow-up audits. Show less
