Research period in the Adhesive group of the University of Porto (ADFEUP) under the supervision of the Professors L.F.M. da Silva and M. D. Banea. During this period, I investigate the use of Thermally Expandable Particles (TEP's) for debonding of adhesive joints. Main activities: Adhesive joints experimental tests and finite element analysis. Research period in the Adhesive group of the University of Porto (ADFEUP) under the supervision of the Professors L.F.M. da Silva and M. D. Banea. Actively participated in the research project on Structural monitoring in helicopter rotor blades though the use of fibber optics encased in composite materials – Granted by a partnership between Politecnico di Milano and AugustaWestland. In the time of the internship I had learn many lamination techniques for composite materials, I developed methods and equipment’s for protection and manipulation of fibber optics, in addition to this I also conducted Pull Out and fatigue tests.
