High profile guests have included, 10 times grammy award winning a cappella group Take 6, actor/director Tim Reid, saxophonists Courtney Pine and Yolanda Brown and actor Richard Blackwood.   In September 2012 I became the first female day time presenter on Jazz FM; hosting a live mid morning show, Monday to Friday, from 10am till 2pm. The popular show significantly helped to increase listenership total hours. Whilst at Jazz FM I interviewed Eric Benet, Femi Kuti, UK Jazz FM Vocalist of the Year Carleen Anderson, The Brand New Heavies and Hugh Masekela to name a few. During the four years at Colourful Radio I had the pleasure of sourcing and conducting over 3,000 interviews including celebrity Chef James Martin, former newsreader and broadcaster John Suchet, Grammy Award nominee Oleta Adams, Academy Award winning film maker Spike Lee, bestselling novelist Kathryn Stockett and Olympic and world heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis; just to name a few. In 2010 I was awarded ‘Best Female Presenter’ and ‘Best Interview’ as voted by the Colourful Radio listeners. Show less
