I was Rosemary's manager when she was a student worker at Andersen Library of the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Rosemary is a wonderful employee. She is a fast learner and pays attention to details. She is outgoing and always willing to go the extra mile to help patrons. Rosemary is also extremely reliable. Rosemary became a Sunday Manager, which at our library is a very trusted position in which student employees open the library without staff supervision, and manage the library for several hours until staff arrive. She excelled at this. I highly recommend Rosemary.

I assisted with running the Beloit Public Library`s summer reading program "Libraries Rock!". This involved a lot of prep for activities and events, helping supervise events, and assisting with story times. I interacted with children of all ages and their guardians. My role here was very much driven by customer service and the circulation of materials. I interacted with all types of people from students to faculty and community members. On Sundays, I was one of two student managers responsible for opening the library and preparing it for the day and patrons. My primary project at the Rock County Historical Sociey was working on research and creating entries for historical sites and homes in the Janesville area. These were published on the website Clio and their mobile app. The Society hopes to use this information in the future on their guided tours. The Wisconsin Farm Project works across the state to collect and preserve the history of farmers through Oral Histories. There is a focus on finding diverse individuals in their life experiences and ethnicity. I worked on collecting research for a variety of topics as well as focusing on the process of muck farming. This lead to me conducting my own interview with a prominent muck farmer in the area. I also assisted in organizing and maintaining the projects office and materials. Midway Village is a museum that focuses on sharing the local history of Rockford Illinois . I worked in the archives for my internship and learned about handling historical artifacts, processing them, and doing research on some of our more notable exhibits. I also assisted with the replacement of an exhibit and handling those items. Midway Village is a museum that focuses on sharing the local history of Rockford Illinois .
