  Here I played the part of team support and room leader for children from newborn to preschool ages. I would take them from early morning until 6 ‘o’ clock in the evening. I would have to follow strict policies and procedures to ensure all children were kept safe under my care by filling out daily activity diaries for each child as well as incidents forms if and when needed. I attended constant refresher courses on safeguarding, autism awareness, allergy awareness, first aid and fire safety. I was liaising constantly with outside agencies such as police, social workers, speech therapists and physiotherapists.
