  I started at Multicultral Communities Council Gold Coast as the Quality Assurance Manager and was able to support the organisation to successfully complete HSQF, Home Care Standards and NDIS quality reviews/audits. I transitioned to the Chief Operations Officer role as I missed the management of programs and leading a team towards operational and strategic goals. It was a pleasure to lead the organisation for 9 months as the Acting CEO, where we continued to grow our programs during a pandemic and supported community members across the spectrum of needs, from youth to seniors. Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC) is the peak body for multicultural communities on the Gold Coast, providing advocacy, community development programs and supporting local communities and individuals to thrive through the delivery of employment, mental health programs, navigation, cultural training, NDIS and settlement programs. CÜRA, the care arm of MCCGC, are leading the way in delivering culturally and language specific community care services to people who are ageing, have disabilities and their carers.
