Rose has worked with my son throughout high school. The experience with Rose has been unlike any other my wife and I and most importantly, our son, has had with a special ed teacher. Rose has been our eyes, ears and a trusted advisor to us. Our son bonded with Rose immediately and if you were to ask him, he'd likely say she walks on water. As a teacher, advisor, and advocate for our son, we couldn't have asked for more from Rose. All three of us believe that she has been a godsend and will be forever grateful to her. In her way, she'll tell you she was just doing her job. And with that I can only write that if we all did our jobs as well as Rose Pugh does, this world would be a much, much better place.

When I was Rose's principal, her concern for students was obvious, and she was frequently mentioned by at-risk and special needs students and their parents as being a significant adult in students' lives.
