I started as a librarian and was promoted in August of 2018. I am responsible for teaching students and faculty all databases, research, writing skills, and other library resources. I coordinate with classroom teachers to bring lessons on digital literacy (and myself as an instructor) into the subject classes. I serve as the point person and liaison for all tutoring in the school. I hire and supervise library staff, after-school tutors, and volunteers, leading our team in completing strategic projects for the library. I manage all aspects of the school's library, market library materials and events, and supervise the yearbook club. I create and maintain content for the library’s virtual learning commons, and help to coordinate and manage technology around the school. I train and supervise my team who manage the service desk, including all customer service interactions, in-library lending, and inter-library loan. Show less
