   Facilitate the formulation, design and development of peace and conflict transformation programme to facilitate an enabling environment for conflict prevention, conflict transformation and peace building towards inclusive stability and development. Monitor and analyze development on national legislations/policies as well as social and political change at the national and local and give appropriate recommendations for action by the organization Design relevant project components and activities under the peace and conflict transformation theme geared towards achieving the strategic objective  Ensure timely completion and submission of reports within the organisation on activities undertaken under the peace and conflict transformation theme  Ensure timely and high quality completion of activities planned as part of ACORD Kenya’s work plan and strategy under the peace and conflict transformation theme Monitor the progress of projects through review of written reports and other materials; meetings with partner organizations; checking reporting schedules, receipt of reports and overdue reports; and making field visits to meet beneficiaries and see project work and provide requisite technical backstopping.  Liaise with key partners linked to the implementation of the project under the peace and Conflict theme Ensure progress coordination in networking and collaboration at local, regional and national level Give methodological and programmatic support to local partners and other actors in implementation of ACORD projects in peace and conflict transformation theme. Maintain close relations with GOK relevant agencies and other key development partners working in the area of peace building.Develop proposal and concept notes for submission by the Country director for fundraising under the peace and Conflict Transformation as well as gather intelligence of donor information in the area of peace and conflict transformation.
