I am part of the Property Services Group, located in the RMIT Operations Portfolio. Property Services operates, maintains, and enhances the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversees construction projects, and ensures the provision of physical facilities services. The Group has an operating budget in excess of $40M and prospective capital projects of over $100M per annum for the next few years in Melbourne and Vietnam. In my role, I provide independent, high quality, flexible confidential support to the Senior Managers of Capital Works, and the wider Capital Works' team. While the position has a primary focus on supporting the Senior Managers and the team, I am also responsible for maintaining and updating our legal documentation database, preparing monthly team presentations, vetting and preparing documentation, diary management, and providing administrative support to the broader Capital Works' team and the Director, Capital Works where required. I am passionate about people and, specifically, mental health. This passion has led me to complete my Mental Health First Aid training and become the Health and Safety Representative for my team. I have also completed my Diploma of Counselling and am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Counselling. My role enables me to combine my administration and people skills which give me great job satisfaction.
