BRIDGET JOY HAINA
As a Digital Media Production faculty member of the Communication Studies Department at SUNY Plattsburgh I had the pleasure of teaching Rosabel Sanchez in all of her digital media courses she took during her time as an undergraduate student. Rosabel was the type of student every teacher dreams for. Her attention to detail and innate ability to problem solve make her an excellent producer of multimedia content. She was constantly challenging herself and pushing the limits in her knowledge which elevated her coursework to an industry-standard level and she never gave up even when faced with the toughest challenges. With this said I would recommend Rosabel for any position that requires the skills of a multimedia creator. She demonstrated a strong understanding of the basic elements and principles of design in all her projects as well as adept abilities in video production and animation. Having worked with her in each of the Adobe Suite Programs I can attest to her knowledge and skills in using Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. She demonstrated impeccable time management and handled both positive and negative feedback with the same poise and determination to improve. Over the course of the Multimedia Storytelling course, Rosabel created several multimedia stories that incorporated audio, video, graphics and still imagery, an interactive Infographic, and several photo essays. Working with After Effects she demonstrated a strong understanding of principles of motion and design during her work producing a short animated film. This course gave Rosabel a chance to showcase her conceptualization abilities as the project was completely open-ended and forced the students to develop original content that told a compelling story. The Advanced Web course focused on responsive web design and development and interactive development using HTML5, CSS and JS, in which the students designed and coded interactive websites focused around user interaction. In all of her coursework, Rosabel proved a drive for excellence and a true passion for creation. Her production sense is spot on to industry standards and trends today and she posses a strong set of aesthetics that enhance the quality of her work.
