I have known Rory since he became Chief Executive. He has great interpersonal skills. In my experience he is a natural leader who has the respect of everyone who works with him. He has calm, assured authority and an ability to inspire confidence in others that ensures things get done. I have no hesitation in recommending Rory. I admire him a great deal.

Rory is an extremely professional and friendly individual who is very intelligent and analytical in his approach. That said, he doesn't tend to mess around and has a very practical approach to getting things done and solving problems. He manages a large number of staff and so has to be a real people person - he's one of the good ones!

Healthwatch is the independent consumer champion created to gather and represent the views of the community in Kirklees as the Health and Social Care System goes through massive change. We're a new, independent charity, that will listen to peoples experiences of the healthcare system, organise their views, and use the experiences of actual people to better inform commissioning. My role is to build a charity from the bottom up into a viable social enterprise, that is knowledgeable, informed, credible, and capable of influencing commissioners across Kirklees. Show less
