  Having started as a labourer helping out in school holidays and then beginning full time in January 2007, I learnt the ropes of the sports surfacing industry under the supervision of our key site foreman. After a few years of building, maintenance began to grow in the business so I began learning this element of the company and again, working on site to gain the knowledge and understanding. After a couple of years learning hands on, I was able to transition into the maintenance manager role following the retirement of the maintenance manager at the time. The company now boasts of a fruitful division with many ongoing contracts and clients, having been in the role for over 10 years. In January 2022 following the retirement of my father, I was handed the title of a company director, something that I am very proud of.
