Comensura are a supply chain management organisation, predominantly focusing on the contingent labour market. My role is to manage all aspects of the supply chain which encompasses a current supplier base of 2000+ national suppliers. Lead company initiative of Internal Recruitment Centre that achieved excellent time savings for the Branch Network, saving the company almost £200,000 in the first two quarters of the year. Managed the call centre and a mixed team of 20 temporary and permanent staff. Worked to budgets, analysis of Profit and Loss documents and adjustment strategies and approaches to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Managing the Referencing and Disclosure team who performed pre-employment referencing checks for large national clients such as AA and British Gas. Set targets and managed team performance to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability. Worked closely with the Support Services Director to re-profile the entire department to meet extremely constrictive annual budgetary demands avoiding any redundancies despite an earlier forecast of at least three FTE redundancies in the department.
