During my time at Assumption High School, I have been given the opportunity to teach numerous classes of various academic levels including: Academic U.S. History (Learning Accommodation Focused), Honors U.S. History, Advanced U.S. History and Honors U.S. Government. Due to my teaching style and experience, my principal selected me to teach Dual Credit Education Courses offered by the University of Louisville. As the Dual Credit Education teacher, I offer UofL's EDTP 201 (Intro to the Teaching Profession) and EDTP 215 (Foundations of Instruction) courses to students who are interested in pursuing a career in education. I have also served as club moderator for the Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy, Rocket Launch Club (focused on student leadership), and Senior Beta Club. I also serve on the Professional Learning Community (PLC) and Response to Intervention (RTI) Committee. I was selected for this committee due to my interest in PLC/RTI as well as my prior experience working at a PLC school. Show less
