GiveMe5 uses the power of the hospitality world to make a positive impact in the lives of economically homeless people.🏨 The Program GiveMe5 is one of the social programs of non-profit organisationThe Present, in which hotels open up 1-5 rooms (or 1% of occupancy) for economically homeless people. A stay of 3-6 months empowers them to go from surviving to thriving. Our local social partners support the participants in finding housing and work during their stay in the hotel. 🌍 The Impact Since 2021, 100+ people transitioned from homelessness to rebuilding their lives through the GiveMe5 program. 📍 Our Reach Currently we are active in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag and Eindhoven. In 2018, Roos released her first EP: ‘Maktub’. The songs are inspired by people she met while working in refugee camps in Greece. All money raised by the EP, goes to where the inspiration for the album came from: refugees.
