Robert Sapko

As Director of Engineering Services, I reported directly to Ron when he was brought on as COO of Gravitate Solutions. I worked with him for two years. Ron embedded himself into the company’s culture determined to gain knowledge about the people and how he could help them be successful in reaching the company’s strategic goals. He brought his knowledge and experience while lifting up those around him with respect and trust, building a stronger team. He quickly understood the complex dynamics on my and other teams and identified and implemented processes and technologies that improved inter-team relationships and company productivity. While not an engineer himself, Ron had little difficulty appreciating the technical work and motivating my technical staff particularly through rewarding strong performance and introducing career paths. I respect and appreciate Ron as a mentor of mine both then and today.

Ron is a pragmatic and caring leader. He excels at analyzing a problem, planning a solution, and developing systems and metrics to track progress. For him, it’s more than a process, it is his nature. He cares about his team, personally and professionally, and drives them to succeed. In business there are people you work with and people you grow with - With Ron, you are likely to grow. I did.

I founded the North American operations and built the North American business from scractch, achieving $1M in sales in the first year, and donating over $15K to charities. I performed every role (by myself) from securing angel funding, to sales, to strategy, to product delivery boy.
