  New revolutionary program in which every combat soldier, or soldier from the special population who enlisted starting July 2013, and who has served full military service, will be entitled to receive a scholarship for an academic degree. The funding of the program is entirely based on donations. Population eligible for the scholarship: -Combat soldiers, Lone soldiers, soldiers from low socio-economic backgrounds, new immigrants, and soldiers from minorities in Israel. The financial cost of a degree for a soldier: -Approximately 20,000 NIS for a Bachelor degree – 3 years of studies -Approximately 27,000 NIS for a degree in engineering or medicine – 4 years of studies Show less
