Oct 2018 - May 2020
Responsible for planning efforts of all major and minor operations conducted by 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC). Coordinated and synchronized the staff and subordinate organizations to maximize efforts in producing strategic plans for sustainment operations throughout the entirety of the Korean Peninsula. Developed strategies, plans, and policies for four major operations within the Korean Peninsula. I also acted as a liaison between 19th ESC and our Korea Army counterparts at 2nd Operational Command (2OC). Through my efforts in 19th ESC and work with 2OC, I influenced the successful completion of those four operations. The strategies I developed encompassed the movement and efforts of lower subordinate organizations throughout the country of South Korea. My planning products continue to be used by 19th ESC today. Executive Director
-
Mar 2013 - Jun 2016
I led a company headquarters of 50 personnel and maintained over $46 million worth of company equipment without an executive assistant. Additionally, I executed this position concurrently as the director of logistics for two of the three years as the executive director. My company provided logistics, training, and surveillance support in the Middle Eastern, European, and African regions. Prepared my company for and passed inspections that included record keeping, property management and accountability, budget management, and security. With my property and supply supervisor, I reduced equipment excess in my company, saving the Army $11 million and increasing productivity efficiency by 20%. My project management skills gave confidence to my higher executives, who gave me an additional $11 million to process and turn in as excess equipment. As the executive director, I needed to establish working relationships with a multitude of different sections/functions. I regularly worked with operations, human resources, legal, supply and logistics, medical, IT, and intelligence. Through my diligence in managing the company, I enabled the staff and higher executives to meet their quarterly and yearly objectives, increasing productivity by a minimum of 10%. Show less

Director Of Logistics
-
Mar 2013 - May 2015
Primary responsibilities include procurement and equipment tracking for a 559 person organization (battalion unit). I utilized a new acquisitions process, acquiring over $105 million worth of essential equipment needed to complete work and meet target goals set by higher executives. I was also able to manage and integrate different supply chains that further enabled subsidiaries (company units) to be successful in their operation and contributed to all companies passing all of their mandatory inspections. I maintained discipline in business rules and practices that strengthen accountability within the organization.I developed new policies and processes that utilized a new acquisition stream. These new business rules increased the efficiency in requisitions for customers, reducing the time between request and reception of goods or services by 83%. Additionally, I became certified in operational contracting for the Army. This enabled me to develop and execute both performance and materiel contracts between the Army and civilian companies. Director of Maintenance

May 2012 - Mar 2013
I oversaw, directed, and led a maintenance section of approximately 125 personnel among six teams. I prioritized repair and maintenance efforts for a customer fleet of over 165 vehicles ranging from four-wheeled utility trucks to 70 ton battle tanks. Additionally, I managed the repair and maintenance prioritization of hundreds of minor equipment ranging from radios, generators, optics, and weapons.

Deputy Director
-
Jun 2011 - Apr 2012
I maintained all administrative actions and responsibilities for a 165 person multi-functional logistics company that was responsible for the logistics support of a 435 person battle tank company. Supervisory Logistics Manager / Operations
-
Jun 2010 - Jun 2011
I planned and executed over 100 resupply requests on developed and undeveloped routes, providing customers uninterrupted logistics support. By having that support, customers were able to maintain 99% efficiency in their operations in austere environments. I managed all military classes of supply, ranging from fuel, to ammunition, to food, and to repair parts. I was responsible for the "last-mile" of logistics for combat units on the battlefield.I was responsible for 25 personnel and 25 vehicles and equipment valued over $11 million. I also provided mentorship and training to my team. One significant result was the ability to groom and train my team to earn their “spurs,” an award normally given to combat Soldiers and not logisticians. In addition to my primary duties as a manager, my executive director gave me four additional duties / responsibilities due to my ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative in improving the company’s operations. I enabled a 100% passing rate in all inspections for my duties and responsibilities, allowing the company to focus on their mission statement. Show less

Composite Design Engineering Intern
-
Jun 2003 - Aug 2003
Conducted during my high school junior summer. I was chosen amongst thousands of students across the U.S. and was placed at Georgia Institute of Technology with twenty other students participating in the program. I studied the cost analysis of manufacturing and testing composite structures using commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components under the guidance of Dr. Erian Armanios, then Director for Georgia Space Grant Consortium at Georgia Institute of Technology. Created three working samples and wrote a 15 page thesis that demonstrated that this method of testing can work. The matrices of the composite structure have more meaning that just the structural integrity of the piece itself. Using composites that rely on fiber based matrices can affect the load bearing and structural response to a given load. For example, in a two fiber layer in the depth a composite length, arranged in an angle (or slant) where each layer is opposite each other, will provide a twisting moment when a load is placed along the length of that piece. Instead of theorizing matrix designs and using high performance materials for prototyping or preliminary tests, using COTS can drastically reduce costs while providing a proof-of-concept foundation for a particular design. My work assisted in establishing the use of COTS for composite matrix design. Show less
