      Footee is a top class sports game that blends two of the world’s best and most popular sports – football and golf. Footee is a competitive, skilful and addictive sports game that mixes the passion and strength of football with the elegance and tradition of golf. It is played on a golf course by groups of players but instead of swinging golf clubs and hitting golf balls, players kick footballs. The game rules are identical to golf - each hole carries a par and the aim is to get the football in to the (bigger) hole on each green in as few shots as possible.       FootGolf Ireland is the official governing body for FootGolf in Ireland. It was established to promote and develop the sport here and it currently has 12 courses affiliated to it throughout Ireland: Footee, Dublin Footee, Navan Deer Park FootGolf, Dublin Highfield FootGolf, Kildare Kilkenny FootGolf, Kilkenny Fairway Football, Wexford Galway FootGolf, Galway Gormanston Park FootGolf, Meath FootGolf Mayo, Mayo FootGolf Carrick, Leitrim Tipperary FootGolf Munster FootGolf It is the Association’s goal to have up to 25 affiliated FootGolf courses (on both existing and disused golf courses) by the end of 2018 and become a National Governing Body by the end of 2025 FootGolf is already becoming one of the all-inclusive sports of our time, played by boys and girls, men and women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The aim of the Association is to: - provide a support structure for all existing and future FootGolf courses - expand the reach of the sport throughout Ireland - help with the development of new courses - set a high standard for FootGolf courses and the sport in general - organise and host National and International competitions - send Irish FootGolf teams to compete abroad - encourage people, and children in particular, to get outdoors and get active FootGolf Ireland is a not-for-profit organisation.
