Student Ambassador
-
Jan 2013 - Jun 2015
Tasked with greeting University visitors, guiding them around campus as well as explaining the history of the University and answering questions raised by visitors. This role required me to practise effective time management and co-ordinating with the rest of the logistics team. Moreover, I have learnt to fully engage with visitors to make them feel welcome at all times whilst being safety-conscious and catering to all disabilities. Working independently, I was able to tailor my approach to attract prospective students from a wide range of age groups. As their first point of contact, I succeeded in providing the best impression possible on behalf of the Physics and Mathematics Department. Show less
