Under the guidance of Associate Professor Zhao Yu at NUS, my project was to develop an efficient and flexible synthetic methodology to access medium-sized rings which have diverse biological activities. (Achieved Grade A) • Experimental set-up, design and reaction optimisation. • Proficient at purification techniques such as extraction, recrystallisation and column chromatography. • Proficient at using glovebox and handling air and moisture-sensitive catalysts and ligands.
