I worked with Ron in an official capacity as Associate General Counsel of Gehl Foods, LLC, and as the company's primary legal representative for its foodservice business. I found Ron to be a hands-on, energetic leader who was personally committed to increasing sales without jeopardizing the long-term health of the company. He was committed to making sure the company didn't assume unnecessary risk, a trait not found in all sales leaders. Prior to his arrival, there were a number of sales professionals who were either not fully trained or not aware of internal processes and best practices to manage, maintain and govern our contracts and external relationships. Ron engaged immediately by meeting with me and our General Counsel to understand the issue, and then he promptly began working with his sales team to address internal training and provide practical guidance. In addition, Ron ensured that he engaged the Legal Department as needed, and he involved an attorney for sales training events to provide ongoing training and reinforcement. And my favorite professional experience working with Ron was to work closely with him to develop practical tools to increase sales while standardizing the company's approach to mitigating risks, thereby reducing the company's overall legal expense! Ron's attitude and approach to our business was to act like an owner. During the 18+ months I worked with Ron, I found him to be a genuine leader by being proactive, forward-looking, candid, results-oriented, and inspiring. I genuinely enjoyed working with Ron, and I know that Ron will continue to add tremendous value to any organization lucky enough to have him as part of their leadership team.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ron at Gehl Foods. Ron was an exceptional VP, with a deep passion for the company’s growth through effective marketing and sales initiatives. As a Brand Manager, Ron worked closely with me on multiple projects including a complete rebrand, marketing and ad campaigns, channel strategies, and developing web content. His out-of-the-box and creative thinking, and his quick-wit sense of humor made my work fun and engaging. Ron unified us as a team that I am proud to have been a part of, investing in our professional development while creating an enjoyable work environment. I am extremely grateful for my time working with Ron and the friendship that continues.

Polyconcept North America (PCNA) is a recognized leader in promotional products, offering a full line of branded and value-priced items supported by one of the best teams in the Industry. I enjoyed being part of PCNA's leadership team, and during my relatively short time drove focus against and helped streamline numerous Customer processes that improved Dept productivity, worked with Nat'l Accts and key distributors to strengthen capabilities, and through these efforts grew sales faster than the PPI {Industry}. 'Top 25' Nat'l Accts +10.24% vs.PY (Q1, 2013) 'Top 100' +13.67% vs. PY. In addition, I helped revise/rewrite Rebate programs to deliver tighter alignment and sales activity across PCNA, and led development of a Co-wide program to identify and resolve Customer service issues with 1 of PCNA's Operating Co's. In delivering these objectives, I focused on supporting our Field and Inside Sales associates to help Distributors build their sales revenue, profitability and teams--while recognizing and rewarding our shared success!
