Leading a PM team of 50+ personnel in differents locations, developing the design and implementation plans of new technologies on ginning cotton and dairy milking of cows with robots. Scope: Project Management New Cotton Ginning Plant ~ CAPEX 2M ~ Global Responsibility My role was to look for higher level technologies and after which it was decided to acquire in USA. I led the construction of the new plant as well as the electromechanical work. Currently the installed cotton ginning machinery is the largest in Argentina. Before the improvement, the cotton harvest was processed in 10 months, after which it was processed in 8 months. 3 Manufacturing shifts were used now 1 shift is needed. Cotton planted area expanded by 25% Scope: Project Management New Dairy Robotic Milking Barn ~ CAPEX 20M ~ Global Responsibility My role was to design new stables for 2.000 cows with Ventilated Tunnel technology for hot climates and a robot milking system. Before the improvement, the average production was 25 liters per cow per day with the new technology will be increased to 32 liters per cow per day. Decrease in animal mortality rate almost to zero during the summer season. The CEO decided to postpone the implementation of the project due to the changing economic and financial conditions in the country. Show less

Leading a PM team of 100+ personnel in differents locations. Design the industrial complex that will include a milk powder plant, power generation, effluent management, distributions center, grain storage and conditioning, manufacturing of expeller and soybean oil Scope: Project Management New Industrial Complex ~ CAPEX 150 M ~ Global Responsibility My initial role was to design the industrial complex, select the technology and direct the construction and assembly work. A process of selection of world-class companies was carried out to provide technology. For this, visits are made to the different companies located in Europe and the USA, then the technical-economic comparison and the acquisition of them were made. Implementation time was within expected and the budget which had to be adjusted for changes working conditions and international demand for credit agencies (IDB) The plants in operation for production were delivered after performing the performance tests and commissioning Scope: Operations Management New Industrial Complex ~ OPEX ~ 11 M/year My role was to recruit all the operational personnel for the plants of the complex, manage the necessary training for each position and design the organizational structure for production. The services of quality QA, Maintenance TPM and Engineering, were created. The expected milk powder production volume was reached reaching 18M tons per year with a raw milk production capacity of 500,000 liters per day It was achieved processed dairy effluent generating 1MW power and also the second phase of the project was initiated to process all of the effluent generated by 16,000 animals The milk powder plant was certified in HACCP and HALAL The objective of training 100% of the collaborators in the industrial area was achieved Show less
