I have worked with Ron at New Zealand Internships for the past 2 years. I decided to move back to the Netherlands a few months ago and could unfortunately not continue doing my job at NZI due to the time difference with the Netherlands, otherwise I would have loved to continue working for this awesome company. It has been a pleasure working together with Ron and Cat and I have learned a lot during my time at NZI. Ron has been a great manager and has always been very supportive of my decisions and gave me the freedom and trust I needed. I really appreciate the flexibility he gave me during my job as well. He’s welcomed me into his home and we had lot’s of nice dinners and chats together, which made my time in NZ even better. Thank you so much for helping me/supporting me during my time in New Zealand. I will always recommend NZI to students wanting to do an internship in NZ/Australia. I miss you guys! We will stay in touch 😊

My journey with Ron goes back to 2018 and it was a pure pleasure working with him at New Zealand Internships. Over the two years that I worked him, he's been one of those rare managers who will encourage you to participate in new projects, and also has a unique capacity of empathy. When he's working, he will make sure to lighten the mood at work with his playlist and ensure the team is motivated and are up to date with what's happening at the office. What stands out is his ability to grasp things quickly no matter how technical or business-oriented they may be. When he's not working, you will find him playing tennis or watching a game of football supporting his all-time favorite - Ajax!
