Staff Psychologist Veterans Administration: Allen Park MI (1980-1984): Provided full spectrum of clinical services for an inpatient acute care unit. Services included psycho-diagnostics, short term and crisis oriented psychotherapy, and administration of ongoing unit activity including programming and treatment planning. Other services provided include Consultation and Liaison services for the vascular, cardiac, and neurology units. Additionally, initiated planning and development of the biofeedback services for the hospital. Served as a supervisor and member of the internship training committee. Montrose New York (1984-2001): Provided services to acute care units which included treatment planning, unit programming, psychodiagnostics and crisis intervention. Developed and initiated the biofeedback program for both clinical and research uses services. Served as Coordinator for the Dual Diagnosis Residential Program, and supervisor of the outpatient substance abuse clinic. Coordinator for Research and Development, day treatment program Coordinator, and outpatient Mental Health Clinic staff Psychologist. Served as a supervisor and member of the internship training committee. East Orange, NJ (2001-2009): Served as the Program manager for Substance Abuse Treatment Services which included a residential treatment component, intensive outpatient services, the opiate maintenance program, and substance abuse outreach services. Additionally, served as the Mental Health Program analyst working closely with the Chief of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences. A major contributor in the development of the electronic treatment planner which is used nationwide within the VA mental health system. Served as a supervisor and member of the internship training committee. Bronx, New York (2009-2011): Planned and implemented the Intensive Outpatient Program of the substance abuse program, and provided a significant amount of the clinical services for the program.
