      The Kooiman Marine Group is a group of qualified companies active in the marine sector, involved in ship design, shipbuilding & repairs. The Kooiman Marine Group has been founded in1884 as a family owned company, which she still is. Within the group the following in house capabilities and facilities are available:• Ship design, from basic design up to and including production information, using the latest 3-D design software;• Hull new building (steel, stainless steel and aluminum);• Outfitting capabilities;• Ship repair facilities;• Design, fabrication and installation of piping systems;• Ship’s interior department, also manufacturing furniture for vessels built;• Design, fabrication and installation of HVAC systems;• Design, fabrication and installation of marine electrical installations;• Design and fabrication of floating mooring systems and harbor equipment;• Fabrication of anchor winches and coupling winches for inland waterway ships;• Design and fabrication of off-shore related dedicated deck equipment, spud poles, propeller shaft seals and bow rudders;• Supply of any spare parts that may be required;The company has new building & repair shipyards in three different locations in The Netherlands, where most of its activities are concentrated. The main facilities are Shipyard Gebr. Kooiman situated in Zwijndrecht and Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee in Dordrecht where new building, repair as well as complete renovations of river going and sea going vessels are carried out.
