  I am a highly experienced Construction Project Manager with over 20 years of hands on experience on projects ranging in size from $3M to nearly $40M. I am fully capable of managing teams on technically complex, schedule intensive, and budget challenged projects from preconstruction through owner occupancy. My diverse renovation and modernization experience includes a $19M renovation of the famed Ritz Carlton Hotel in Pasadena, CA. I carefully identify the fiscal impact of any potential delays up front and allow time for face to face communication with affected team members, resulting in documented actions and agreements. My proactive approach to project management was honed early in my career when I was responsible for multiple restaurant renovations on 2-week alternating schedules throughout the Western U.S. My career defining project was the renovation of the historic Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pasadena, which was kept open throughout the duration. The project was finished under budget, and three months ahead of schedule. My technical training includes an A.A. Degree in Fine Arts, along with MAP Management Training, Master Builders Project Management Training and Primavera Scheduling, LEED AP.In addition to solid industry-leading project management skills, I bring a unique value in the concept of time and money. I preserve time by focusing the team on the right thing - right now. This approach identifies the time/money impacts of potential delays or incorrect decisions up front, and allow adequate time to resolve the issues in advance. My approach is to always communicate face-to-face, then document agreements and track them. My communication approach is to act and think like a psychologist – understand how to communicate most effectively with each individual involved in the project. This approach, combined with grounded honesty and fairness, enables me to effectively influence the team to help each other through the inherent challenges of each trade.
