South West TAFE is different from other training providers, in that we actively develop new training programs to help address regional skills shortages. This means our graduates will likely succeed in finding future careers and rewarding employment. Ranked number one among all other Victorian Large Training Providers in 2011, South West TAFE has earned a name for delivering excellence in vocational education and training. From our beginnings in the 1800s, South West TAFE has grown to be the largest provider of skills training in south-west Victoria, currently offering a wide range of accredited qualifications, plus short courses and stand-alone units from industry training packages. Choose from pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, traineeship, vocational and graduate studies, industry certificates and TAFE in Schools programs. Study modes include on campus, off campus, on site and online learning. Our teachers, training facilities, support services and direct links with industry ensure students gain practical skills to reach their career and personal goals. We are also active in the community, providing supported education to students with special needs. Our youth programs offer young people the chance to reconnect and engage. Campuses are located in Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton and Glenormiston, with facilities and services set to expand as the region grows. Show less
