  The Authority's mission is to work in affiliation with Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and Tallahassee Community College, as well as the City, County and the private sector to promote the scientific research and development activities of the Park, and to foster economic development and broaden the economic base of Leon County, Florida. Working with an 11 member board of governors, manage Innovation Park, a 200+ acre research park with seventeen buildings, totaling one million square feet, providing over 2,000 people with the space to develop advanced technology in magnetics, high performance materials, aeropropulusion, mechatronics, energy, and life sciences. Home to the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. Manage staff delivering entrepreneurship and technology commercialization programs, as well as supporting marketing of the Park and stakeholder engagement. Partner with the City/County Economic Development Organization to enhance business attraction, growth, and early-stage company development.
