  RISKONET is a technically specialized knowledge organization. The focus is on providing integrated risk control risk management and risk engineering services for companies and organizations operating locally as well as internationally and for insurer and insurance intermediars. Within the Risk management service package the main focus of the risk engineering team is on asset safety in it’s broadest perspective. We are specialized and independent consultants (from Latin: consultare "to discuss") and our aim is to share our expertise and knowledge in such a way that our client is put in a position to decide. However we will not refrain from also professionally challenge our clients in their decisions. The team is specialized in risks that come from, threats from project failures (at any phase in design, development, production, or sustainment life-cycles), accidents, natural causes and disasters as well as deliberate attack from an adversary, or events of uncertain or unpredictable root-cause. The methods, definitions and goals applied vary widely according to whether the risk management focus is in the context of project management, security, engineering, industrial processes, or public or personal health and safety. Where others focus on compliance with legislative, corporate or insurance standards and oft changing ends and means we keep our focus on what our client wants to achieve on the long term. We will start with clearly understanding the intention and work with our clients towards an engineered solution. Where required we combine risk engineering with risk financing solutions Especially in the industries and businesses we operate in standard solutions are of limited value and oft useless as the industries and business are typically non-standard. This is why all of our consultant engineers are committed to our three core values: entrepreneurship, partnership and excellence.

  De doelstelling van het bewoners comité Dorp Vierhouten is het behoud en de verbetering van de kernkwaliteiten rust, ruimte en natuur van het dorp Vierhouten. Het dorp leeft al gedurende vele jaren in harmonie met de grote hoeveelheid toeristen in en om het dorp, doorgaans zonder dat dit de leefbaarheid negatief beïnvloedt. De bewoners van Vierhouten willen dit graag samen met de horeca en haar gasten continueren. Dit door gezamenlijk de basis te versterken en gastvrijheid te bieden aan bezoekers van ons dorp die dezelfde waarden en normen hanteren en met dezelfde reden Vierhouten bezoeken als waarom de bewoners hier wonen. Natuurschoon, kleinschaligheid, ruimte, rust, gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid zijn hierbij steekwoorden. Het comité streeft naar een constructieve samenwerking met de aanwezige recreatie bedrijven en een balans tussen een drukke zomer piek en voldoende rust voor het dorp en de omliggende kwetsbare bos- en heidegebieden in het najaar en de winterperiode. Voor het dorp, de natuur en het wild zijn dit de seizoenen om weer “op adem te komen” van een aantal voorjaars- en zomermaanden van drukte

  The Sheepherd in Municipality of Nunspeet is housed in a traditional sheepfold in the village of Elspeet located on the Veluwe, a large natural resort in the center of The Netherlands. The herd already houses in Elspeet for over 45 years with a history however going back over hundreds of years. The Sheepherd foundation of Nunspeet took over the herd in 2008 when it's original owner Cos Mouw was not able anymore to go to the heath on a daily basis. The foundation now employs 2 shepherds who take care of the herd on a daily basis. Sheepherds in the Netherlands are a historical phenomena but with an important role for preservation of the typical scenary of heath and forest. The sheep keep the heath short, take away the grass and young trees, by this keeping it open. They do this on a very environmental friendly way as otherwise machinery is to be used for the same purpose. The herd also is very attractive for tourist who visit The Veluwe. The herd is one of around 20 still left in The Netherlands and it is important to keep this tradition alive and allow for this usefull and sustainable tradition to continue in the future. The foundation is dependant on gifts from private people, the province of Gelderland and from the municipality of Nunspeet who pays for grazing the heath. The foundation and it's herd is always looking for sponsors and are open for creative animal friendly ideas on how to generate money.
