Work experience alongside the Development manager
-
Jul 2020 - Aug 2020
My role involved work across the Marketing, Development, Fundraising, Admissions, Communications and Alumnae departments. I completed iHASCO training in GDPR Essentials, Fire Awareness, Health & Safety Basics & Essentials, Unconscious Bias for employees and Display Screen Equipment. During my work experience I wrote papers and briefing documents for the Director of Development and Communications relating to online alumnae events and the future use of social media. In addition, I took photographs of GCSE and A-Level artwork and created a film to share on the school's social media channels and uploaded digital student publications whilst looking after the various social media accounts. I also enjoyed writing articles for 'The North Londoner', the annual school magazine, and 'ONLine', the annual alumnae magazine as well as telephoning alumnae legators and the preparation and mailing of letters and other Admissions materials to parents.

This was an Open Day at Coutts for information regarding the graduate scheme. I was exposed to the layout of the financial industry and was given valuable advice on the topic of applying for insight weeks and spring weeks during my first year of university.
