  I lead a team of 10 people consisting of UX Researchers, UX/UI Designers and Medical Experts. In this role, communicate with different internal and external stakeholders to determine the scope, timeline and priority of different projects in order to plan the work of my team members accordingly. Our team creates the concept and designs for new features for our four products: the mediteo mobile app, the mediteo web app, the desktop application GHG Praxisdienst and the Gotthardt medical brain. We regularly use Design Thinking, Design Sprints, customer journey maps and user interviews to create products that address exactly our user's needs. Furthermore, we add medical content to GHG Praxisdienst based on the knowledge of our Medical Experts.For open positions in the team, I drive the recruitment process to find excellent and motivated individuals who are the perfect match for the open tasks and the team's culture. After hiring, I manage their onboarding process and continuously coach all team members to give them the possibility to grow and develop into their desired direction.I am also responsible for the creation of legal documents (Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, contracts etc.) in collaboration with our lawyers, as well as for creating and updating QM documentation such as SOPs for our ISO13485 and ISMS certifications.As Product Manager for mediteo web I work closely with our SCRUM Team to define the roadmap, stretegy and development priorities.   Within the product management teams I worked on several projects for the mediteo mobile app, the mediteo web app and GHG Praxisdienst, a software for doctors in private practice. I performed backlog management, resource management and time management for three different Kanban teams to bring UX/UI concepts to completion and to introduce new content into our products. This role was a transitional role to the Team Lead position.

  mediteo is a mobile and web E-health application which helps people to manage their medication more easily. As Scrum Product Owner for the mediteo iOS and Android mobile apps I was the agile Product Manager of a multinational team consisting of about 20 developers, Quality Control experts, designers and User Experience (UX) Researchers. I was responsible for the creation of the product roadmap, the conceptualisation of new features together with the UX team, for translating requirements into product backlog items and prioritising them to always ensure transparency within the team. Together with my two SCRUM teams, I planned and organised the development work, carried out acceptance tests and managed releases. In order to tailor the app to the customers' needs, my role also included selecting and monitoring product metrics in collaboration with our data science team, as well as customer support and liaising with external and internal stakeholders. Thanks to our excellent and well-documented processes, which I always sought to continuously improve, Mediteo successfully obtained the certification of our product mediteo m+ as medical device as well as the certification of our quality management system according to ISO 13485. Moreover, mediteo mobile held the certificate TÜV "geprüfte App" for 4 years and became Testsieger at Stiftung Warentests as the best app for medication intake in 2021. Show less

  Postdoc at the Department of Haematology As a member of the BLUEPRINT EU consortium I analysed genetic and epigenetic high-throughput sequencing data (RNA-seq, Ribo-seq, ChIP-seq, DNaseI-seq, ATAC-seq) as well as chromosome conformation data (promoter capture HiC) of different blood cell types in order to identify genes and their regulatory elements leading to lineage commitment. For this purpose I developed pipelines and scripts, mainly in bash and R. We used our data, in combination with GWAS results, to inform our whole genome sequencing team about the genomic regions that should be scanned to find non-coding causal variants in rare disease patients. I also taught RNA-seq and ChIP-seq data analysis courses for postgraduates at the University of Cambridge. Show less
