Clarence Vincent

Though I only worked with Jose for a short time, I was very impressed with Jose. Jose had an energy and a personality that could make a team gel. As a systems trainer, he was extremely knowledgeable, and approachable. He was a great resource to me during my short stay at S3. In departing my role with S3, I heavily recruited Jose to come to work for me. Unfortunately, I could not convince him to join my new team due to personal obligations. I would gladly recommend Jose Roman to any company looking for a young person that is hard working, dedicated, and determined to excel. Talents like Jose are hard to come by. He is certainly worth adding to an organization that is looking to build it's talent pool.

My areas of focus include mathematics, chemistry and physics. I am energetic, personable, and patient and am able to quickly build working relationships with students in order to increase their motivation to succeed. I understand the challenges faced by modern students and have experience working with children who struggle with attention issues. Since S3 is a startup company, the Contact Center Systems Trainer position didn't exist before I began. This granted me the opportunity to create and implement my own training materials while molding the position across the following aspects:• Coaching/mentoring existing employees• Updating/Creating Standard Operating Procedures• Testing and updating software• Training new hires ( On the job training, additional skill-set training)• Quality Assurance (Monitored over 100 calls per month)• Remained available to the Management Team as back up for shift coverages and handling escalated member issues.During my time I have trained over 160 new hired employees, many of whom I provided additional skillset trainings to further their expertise. I was able to develop and implement my own original training materials, and would regularly take phone calls in different skill-sets alongside reps, to maintain fluency in current work scenarios and procedures. • Member Services Representative

S3 is a Credit Union Service Organization that services three partner Credit Unions; Bellco, Bethpage, and SECU. As a MSR for S3 my primary duties were to service incoming calls from members of our respective partners. These servicing requests range from basic account inquiries, transactions, opening/closing accounts and educating members to more complex matters such as wire transfers, online banking troubleshooting, fraud disputes and mortgage/escrow inquiries. In my short time as an MSR I was able to cross-train in multiple skill sets and begin handling more complex member issues both in English and Spanish while making myself available to assist my colleagues when requested. My approachable and adaptive personality, tendency to exceed expectations and drive contributed to my swift promotion to Systems Trainer. Show less

I began working for ABG while attending school at the University of Maine Orono, during this time I sharpened my sales skills and techniques. I learned to actively listen and perform customer needs analysis. I set goals, calculated and tracked weekly sales progress. As a Team Lead I helped guide and train new hired employees on standard operating procedures, sales steps and practices. This role is where I discovered my passion for sales and customer service.
